Pre-decorated wall panels for commercial interiors – new and refurbishment
There’s nothing new about pre-finished plasterboard wall panels, they’ve been around a while usually with a vinyl/PVC finish that’s glued to the boards paper face. The problem is they don’t look great, the reaction to fire isn’t great and they can’t be easily recycled. It’s legacy technology that doesn’t do the planet justice when there’s a viable alternative available.
Powder coated plasterboard are also a viable alternative in some applications such as OSM/Pre-fab and commercial partitions to traditionally painted plasterboard. Saving time, reducing mess and improving durability and hygiene standards.
